A good backyard grilling session can be exhilarating in the sense that when surrounded by good food, good times, and good weather, it’s as if one is transported somewhere else. However, unlike a vacation in some far away land, at home we are surrounded by friends and family, completing the experience to a degree unattainable anywhere else. To complete this journey, all that is needed is some charcoal, a few select food items, and of course, a grill.
With a resemblance to a ship porthole when not in use, the Sigmafocus is a folding wall-mounted charcoal grill that transforms the backyard when put to use. With a large, circular plate designed both to hold the grill in place as well as to protect the wall from smoke and heat damage, the compact grill frees up available space with an attractive design both when in use, and when not. Several grill accessories are included, designed especially for the grill. To clean, the ash bowl even folds down for easy emptying.
The grill is created by Focus Fireplaces, a longstanding grill maker of innovative design; the distinctive Sigmafocus is an impressive entry into the catalog. It doesn’t take much to create a fun environment in the backyard, and with a space-saving and modern approach to the grill, the company allows owners the luxury of distraction without ever leaving home.

When you put a plate or a bowl in the microwave, you don’t just wind up with hot food. You also get a hot dish, which can make getting your food out of the microwave and into your stomach a bit more of a challenge. The Cool Touch Micro Bowl offers a solution that allows you to handle a hot bowl without problems. The Cool Touch Micro Bowl is actually a set of three pieces: a ceramic bowl, an outer plastic bowl, and a plastic lid. The plastic bowl not only lets you pick up your food straight out of the microwave, but it also has a unique handle that allows you to hold on to your bowl with just one hand. If you need to eat your soup on the go, you can. The lid also makes transporting a meal to work or elsewhere easy, without having to worry about what the microwave is doing to your Tupperware.
The Cool Touch Micro Bowl holds up to 17 ounces. The whole set is easy to clean up and doesn’t stain when you microwave food in it, the way some plastic containers will. You can even use the outer bowl with some other ceramic bowls. The bowl is $14.98.

When you don’t have an icemaker built into your freezer, you have to make your own. It’s not a particularly difficult process, but the odds of filling up a tray in your sink, getting it across the kitchen, and then placing in the freezer without splashing aren’t so great. Generally, we just put up with it, but there is an alternative: The Covered Ice Cube Tray. The idea is simple, but makes filling up ice cube trays less of a hassle. This ice cube tray simply has a lid that snaps on over the tray, with a hinged opening that lets you fill it with water. You don’t have to worry about splashes walking across the kitchen.
The Covered Ice Cube Tray is made from dishwasher-safe plastic. It makes a surprising amount of difference in your ice cubes, such as keeping lingering odors out of your ice. The Covered Ice Cube Tray guarantees that you get clean, fresh-tasting ice for about $6.99.
